The 1st Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Applications (AIA 2025)

In conjunction with the 8th International Conference on Informatics and Applied Mathematics (IAM'25), November 25-26, 2025, Guelma, Algeria

Workshop Description

Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a transformative paradigm across scientific disciplines, fundamentally reshaping research methodologies and industrial practices through its unprecedented capabilities in pattern recognition, complex system modeling, and knowledge extraction from massive datasets. Contemporary AI systems now enable breakthroughs in diverse domains, ranging from high-dimensional data analysis to predictive modeling of complex systems, while simultaneously driving innovations in autonomous decision-making architectures for robotics, smart cities, and industrial automation.

The AIA 2025 workshop offers a dedicated forum to rigorously examine the synergistic potential between foundational AI methodologies and their real-world applications, with a particular emphasis on mathematical modeling and computational informatics. This intersection represents a critical research frontier where theoretical advances in machine learning, topological data analysis, and algorithmic optimization converge with practical challenges in numerical simulation, symbolic reasoning, and large-scale scientific computing.

The workshop will specifically address the formalization of modern AI systems and the development of computationally efficient implementations that adhere to domain-specific constraints in mathematics, physics, biology, and engineering;

This exchange between theory and application is especially vital as AI systems increasingly mediate the processes of scientific discovery while simultaneously demanding rigorous frameworks to ensure their reliability, interpretability, and robustness in mission-critical applications.

Topics of Interest

The AIA 2025 workshop invites high-quality research contributions in the broad domain of Artificial Intelligence and its applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  • Foundational AI methodologies
  • Mathematical modeling for intelligent systems
  • Innovative AI-driven solutions in science, engineering, and industry

The workshop encourages interdisciplinary contributions that bridge theoretical advances and practical implementations across domains such as healthcare, energy, environmental modeling, intelligent transportation, and automated scientific discovery.
