Prof. Rachid GHERBI
Title: Metaverse et technologiques immersives et leurs applications
Affiliation: Professor of Computer Science, University of Paris-Saclay, France
Rachid GHERBI is a professor of computer science at the University of Paris-Saclay, France, since 1988. He is a expert in the metaverse, virtual and augmented reality, and in immersive and int9elligent technologies. An USTHB engineer, he obtained his Master and PhD in computer vision in 1992 at the University of Paris-Sud. He obtained his HDR (Habilitation to manage research) in 2001 at the same university on data science representation and the processing ofiolo'polcomplex data in Human-Computer Interaction. He co-founded and directed several research groups in the LIMSI CNRS Orsay and Genopole Evry laboratories. He has supervised a dozen Ph.Ds and twenty Masters, and published a hundred international papers. Several projects funded at national and European level were managed by Rachid Gherbi, as academic as well socio-economic impact. He organized several conferences and spring and summer schools. He was Visiting Professor at Concordia University (Canada) in 2005. Since the end of 2014, he has been very active in Algeria at the state level where he is an expert at the DRGSDT, appointed in particular to the Permanent Sectoral Committee of the MESRS (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research). He is currently the head of CU-PUIO (Pôle Universitaire d'Ingénierie d'Orsay) at the University of Paris-Saclay. Moreover, Rachid Gherbi is very active in civil society circles in France and Algeria. He is a board member of OSHI (Organisation Solidarité Humanitaire Internationale), president of the Nourdance association, and recently founder and co-president of the Science&Media club.
Pr. Abderrahmane BAADACHE
Title: Wireless Security in the era of Big Data and AI

Pr. Abderrahmane BAADACHE is a professor at University of Algiers 1, specializing in wireless network security. He completed his engineering degree at the Institut Superieur d’Informatique (ISI, formerly INI) and earned his PhD in computer science from the University of Béjaia. Pr. A. BAADACHE has developed strong expertise in the security of wireless communication systems, with research interests spanning secure protocol design, authentication mechanisms, and emerging threats targeting modern wireless infrastructures. He has published numerous research articles in national and international journals and conferences. In addition to his research activities, Dr. A. BAADACHE supervises several graduate students and actively participates in academic and scientific initiatives aimed at strengthening cybersecurity education and innovation. He is currently a faculty member at the University of Algiers 1, where he teaches and conducts research in wireless security and network technologies.
Pr. Moumen HAMOUMA
TTitle: Byzantine Fault Tolerance From Theory to Blockchain And Federated Learning

Pr. Moumen HAMOUMA is currently a Full Professor at the University of Batna 2. He is the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Batna 2. His main research interests are the basic principles of distributed computing systems. He has published papers in IEEE NCA, OPODIS, PODC, CODIT, MobiWIS, and ICDCN international conferences, as well as articles in internationally renowned journals, such as Journal of the ACM, IEEE Access, International Journal of Parallel, Emergent and Distributed Systems (IJPEDS), Fundamenta Informaticae, and Theoretical Computer Science (Elsevier). He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at ACM PODC 2014.

Mr. Sami SAHRAOUI is a highly skilled Senior Consultant, Auditor (RSMSI), and professional instructor specializing in Information Systems Security, recognized for his robust expertise in risk management, compliance, and offensive security. He holds key industry certifications including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH V9), ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and ISO 27005 Risk Manager, supplemented by a CCNA certification and an Analyst-in-Chief diploma. Leveraging significant experience at La Poste Tunisienne, M. Sahraoui has successfully served as Project Manager for several critical initiatives, including the implementation of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS), the development of the organization's comprehensive Security Policy, leading major Penetration Testing and vulnerability audit projects, establishing Business Continuity Plans (BCP/PCA), conducting internal IT audits, and managing complex IT risk analysis and mitigation strategies. Beyond his consulting work, he is a dedicated professional educator, instructing modules on IT Systems Security, Audit of Information Systems, Operating Systems analysis, and the creation of ISO 27003-compliant ISMS.
